Microorganism field is one of the most significant areas in terms of high value-added industry. Especially regarding the national strategic industry, its expandability and flexibility are immeasurable.

In this respect, NOSQUEST and its affiliated company, ASTA, have jointly developed MALDI-TOF(Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization – Time of Flight)-based integrated diagnostic system, MicroIDSys, to improve cost and time issues in making diagnosis from hospitals and research centers.

The MALDI-TOF based diagnostic system is highly innovative technology combining with library-typed Database and AI(artificial intelligence) software so that it can match the sample with the pre-established Database to identify what the sample is in regards to. Accordingly, it will accurately diagnose patients' disease status and progress in real-time.

We have been focusing on research not only for identifying human disease derived from a microorganism, but also for diagnosing of pets’ medical matters. Moreover, we have been developing the diagnosis/prognosis system about human cancer and degenerative brain disease as utilizing this next generation diagnostic system as well. As our progressive technology spreads globally, its reputation and satisfaction among actual users are on the increase throughout the global medical device market including Europe, the U.S, and China.
